The future is now, and with all of the groundbreaking technology coming out in our time, it is possible to see the future through our own eyes. With that said, today i want to take a moment of your time to address a specific type of technology that is on the rise, levitation technology.

When i say “levitation technology”, I mean the ability for an object to hover a suitably a good distance from the ground while maintaining stability. From bullet trains to floating beds, this type of technology could lead to an infinite number of possibilities. There have been several approaches to levitation that have been taken in the past, things like magnetic repulsion, coils or just plain bursts of air. Now, for an object to be able to fully levitate, it is necessary that all directions (3 displacements x,y,z the 3 angles) are stable in the levitated position. Stable in the sense that if the levitated object is displaced from it’s rest position, a repelling force is generated in order for the object not to lose control of its positioning.

Buddha LevitatingBringing levitation into light, is an up and coming company that is using this technology to better improve the aesthetics of our own homes. Crealev Inc. has found a way to make ordinary household objects float a good distance from the ground without requiring high dissipation of energy. By introducing this technology, Crealev has transformed these ordinary objects into something that exceeds the boundaries of the ordinary, and crosses into the threshold of the extraordinary.

I remember watching the Jetsons when i was growing up and seeing their hovering chairs and beds, wishing that my home was anywhere near that level of coolness. To be honest with you, i never thought I would be able to purchase a hovering bed in my time. I figured that would be the time of my grand-childrens’ children, but again, I have been proven wrong.

Crealev is even able to introduce their technology into custom designed artifacts for the consumer. As for how they have accomplished such a feat is beyond me for the time being. The only thing Crealev has been able to advise me of their tech, is that it is patent filed, way to be informative to the people there buddies.

Either way, if you want that space age feel to your home, check out there website at Crealev.com. And please, don’t be fooled by the mediocre presentation of their website, I’m sure they’re just busy with all the brain work behind the technology.

Imagine if you will, stepping through my front door and the first thing you see is a small statue of Buddha floating high above the ground. Then, as I walk you into my living room, I offer you a comfortable seat in one of my floating chairs. It would be like stepping through a door into the future, when in fact, it is just my home. My point is that even though this technology may be out of the average joe’s price range right now, in a couple years, this technology will be as common in our homes as computers, cd players, and plasma tv’s have become.
